JOB OVERVIEW:
Responsible for operating a vehicle and driving passengers to and from their destinations. Greets passengers, ascertains destination, watches for traffic signals, waits for passengers to take them to their next destination.
REPORTS TO: Director of Residences
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Driving the residents and guests in the house car per policy. Mostly involves working in and around the house car, driving the vehicle, and working on the parking deck and in the garage. Tending to the upkeep, cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.

Internal: Administrative Office, Concierge, Reception Staff.
External: Residents and visitors.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- 3 years experience in a professional driver capacity.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling, requirements and use of equipment.
- Quick to resolve and prioritize issues.
- Excellent with directions, remembering names, and instruction.
- High school graduate, some college.
- Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.
- Compute mathematical calculations.

Desirable:
- Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish, Portuguese or Russian.
- Previous hospitality experience, specifically in a luxury tiered property.
- Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Essential:
- 1. Florida issued CDL with a (P) endorsement.
- 2. Exert physical effort in transporting supplies (15 pounds) to complete service request.
- 3. Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
- 4. Remain in stationary position for multiple hours throughout work shift.
- 5. Satisfactorily communicate with Residents/Tenants, management and co-workers to their understanding.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensure optimum cleanliness and service standards for house car.
- Perform pre and post trip inspections of the House Car
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment regarding the House car. Use equipment only as intended.
- Anticipate residents’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all residents, however busy and whatever time of day.
- Maintain positive resident relations at all times.
- Resolve resident complaints, ensuring resident satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
- Assist reception desk with deliveries when needed.
- Assist with valet, when needed.
- Complete House Car log nightly.
- Prepare and distribute assignment sheets to assigned staff and review priorities.
- Follow up with management in regards to house car with status of repair until fully completed.
- Complete all paperwork and closing duties before leaving. Review status of assignments and any follow-up action with General or Residential manager.
- Review department log records and be familiar with pertinent information relevant to the daily shift.
- Screen and assist all visitors and food deliveries and gain approval from residents prior to allowing access to the elevators.
- Log all visitors into property management system.
- Review the property status and follow up actions with the previous shift officer.
- Issue radios and keys to designated Estates personnel. Maintain accurate records and ensure the safekeeping of such.
- Monitor surveillance cameras.
- Document, organize and store all lost and found items given to Security; document visitor and residents inquiries for lost items and coordinate return of lost items to visitors and residents.
- Comply with residents requests for storing and safekeeping of their valuables.
- Answer the departmental telephone.
- Document all pertinent information in the daily shift log
- Complete all paperwork and closing duties before leaving. Review property status and any follow-up actions with on-coming Security Officer.
- Prepare work orders for maintenance repairs and submit to Engineering.
