JOB OVERVIEW
Ensure that all residents, guests and visitors visiting the Beach Club Area (Costa Grill, Pool & Beach, Beach and Front Lawn area) are properly registered and issued wristbands after presenting proper credentials. Patrol Pool & Beach area to ensure that all persons are compliant with resort policies.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends working from: 9.30am - 6.00pm

WORK ENVIRONMENT: All areas of the Estates and surrounding property; Beach Area
Job involves working:

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: All Estates Staff.
External: Residents and residents’ visitors, Police Department, Fire Department, vendors and contractors.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- Criminal-free record.
- High school graduate.
- Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.
- Provide legible communication and directions.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to:
- Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
- Prioritize, organize and follow up.
- Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
- Follow directions thoroughly.
- Understand visitor, and resident’s service needs.
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.

- Maintain confidentiality of resident, and departmental information and pertinent resort data.

QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- High school graduate.
- Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.
- Provide legible communication and directions.
- Compute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers).
- Ability to:

- Exercise time management skills by organizing tasks in a manner to work efficiently and effectively and complete all daily responsibilities prior to the end of the shift.

- Follow directions thoroughly, accurately and consistently.
- Anticipate and execute Resident, Guest and Visitor needs.
- Knowledge and familiarity of residential unit owners, repeat & loyal guests and VIPs.
- Ensure that all persons wishing to exit out to the Beach Club area provide proper credentials prior to being issued a wristband.
- Superior organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Organizational aspects of the wristband station welcome desk and areas of work.
- Responsible for overseeing all security related aspects of the Beach Club area and safety related matters.
- Ensure that AQ Terrace is checked hourly to ensure “Photo Ready” appearance.
- Maintain accurate numbers of persons who have accessed the area and accurately separate them into respective sections.
- Enforce Beach Club policy in relation to the amount of persons allowed per room which varies on the amount of bedrooms inside of their residential units or guest rooms.
- Work with a positive attitude and cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Display integrity and maintain an industrious work ethic to perform shift with minimal supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest and resident information and pertinent resort data.

- During times of busy periods, ability to work beyond scheduled hours in order to assist with operational needs.
- Assist in providing first aid to injured persons throughout designated workspace.
- Properly document events and incident reports which may at a later time be used in legal situations.
- Monitor rain and weather activity and if need be, request the assistance of other security officers or Pool & Beach to collect chair cushions
Desirable:
- College degree.
- 2 years minimum of experience proven experience working as a security officer, customer service agent, Pool & Beach operation.
- Experience with computers and calculators.
- Certification of previous training in computers, but must be versatile in Outlook, Excel and Word and other duties as assigned.
- Experience in Luxury Condo/ Hospitality Industry in similar position.
- Previous guest and resident relations training.
- Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish, Russian, French, or Portuguese.
- Knowledge of MS Shift Software.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Essential:
- 1. Exert physical effort in transporting 50 to 150 pounds.
- 2. Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
- 3. Reach 12 inches.
- 4. Remain in stationary position for 8 hours throughout work shift.
- 5. Satisfactorily communicate with residents, management and co-workers to their understanding.
- 6. Lifting up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis.

SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist all departments in workplace location as needed.
- Ensure that all persons on premises have the proper credentials and that they are wearing the assigned wristband for the day.
- Ensure that all Pool & Beach areas are in pristine conditions and ready to be used.
